But, probably, I'm just being too intriguing. So I'll better pass to telling the facts :)
Yesterday at work we had pretty preholiday-relaxed (but my 2 bosses are on there vacation leaves and I was in charge of some of there duties, so for me that was preholiday freaking day at work) day, our men surprised us with flowers, food and bonus gifts ))) I found the tulips on my working table when I came to the office
Then my colleague who is Japanese shared a pack of these Japanese kitkats with me! Nothing extra weird has been detected. But still cool
Then there was this table
There were rolls and sushi as well, and thanks Buddhahood, there were some with cucumber and avocado only. Like all the other options on that great table contained animal product which is a strict NO for me. Hashtag #eartglings #cowspiracy
After work I met up with My Mysterious Him (MMH) and we headed to Liza's birthday. We took a train from Moscow and very soon reached her station. Took a taxi from there to where we were invited and here the party started :) that was a wooden building with sauna (which is actually better to call Russian banya), swimming pool, a room with billiard and karaoke and a dining room.
Everything started quite calm, MMH finally met someone who could speak Englush in the face of Liza's future husband (yeah, we are already invited to there wedding ), Martin. And Martin is from Austrua.I mean, my friends do speak English. But the ones that MMH happened to meet were all girls. And here finally comes a boy :)
So we took it easy having started with beer, then we went to the sauna ( banya!!) and I felt like my body got rid of all the toxins and negative energy, but that was actually quite a struggle to sit in sauna longer than 5 minutes, it was reaaally hot, from 120 degrees (Celsius) when we entered to I don't know how many but definitely more :)
Then we dived into the pool and continued in the dining room. Do I need to say that I was not understood by my friends and there were only crout (pickling) and what we call Korean carrot (just carrot sliced very thin with spices and in some marinade) that I could eat? But that went pretty well.
Then when we finally had our gradus up, we continued the party in the karaoke and billiard hall. That was much fun, I would even say too much fun because MMH influenced by Martin took part in degustation of vodka with him.and then beer. Well, at least, this was a lesson :)
We didn't take a lot of photos because we were really enjoying ourselves and when we realized that it happens so rare that we meet all together...we started to hesitate whether we still were in that condition when you can make photos :) this one was taken before that moment tho:)
We came home by taxi late in the night. It was 3 or 4 am.
Had quite late morning as well, and very calm day, however we still have evening.
I knew that MMH would really regret his degustation ceremony at the party, that is why I wanted to cook something cool for him. Don't know if he liked it or not (he always says nice to everything I cook), but at least it looked nice:
These are pitas with veggies! I put them in the oven for 15 mins.
I made a sauce with corn, soy sauce and tomato paste in the pan, put it on pitas and then added these viggies:
Then oven-15mins-plate :)
MMH couldn't wait until the 8th of March ( but actually he was just afraid of me being angry at him for degustation ceremony and behavior, but in fact I was not ^^ ) and surprised me with this super cute gift on the occasion of the international women's day:
I actually consider myself more serious and brutal for cups with kitties and pinky bags with super cute notebooks, but I really like the gift
For dinner I cooked rolls, veggie rolls ! :)
I used exactly same set of vegetables as for the pita-pizzas, with rice, nori, salad and hummus!
Ciao!
When will we hear wedding bells for MMH and you?
